Customers often turn to LIMA for contract mechanical machining services, relying on factors such as the decades of experience of our staff, strict adherence to delivery times, high production quality standards, in-depth knowledge of plastic material behaviour, and the wide range of technologies at our disposal. In particular, we specialise in CNC machining of plastics.

LIMA's production department is equipped with a variety of machines that enable us to meet the diverse customer demands in terms of size, adherence to design tolerances, and geometric complexity. LIMA is structured into three distinct production lines.

In the first department, the CNC turning department, plastic CNC machining, high-tech machines (parallel lathes, multi-slide, 2/3/5-axis) are used, capable of turning parts up to 1,500 mm. In the second department, the milling department, parts are manufactured by processing sheets: we have 5-axis CNC vertical machining centres and 3/5-axis CNC pantographs with suction worktables up to 5,500 x 4,200 mm. In the third department, the automatic turning machines department (cam lathes), parts are produced in series and batches of hundreds of thousands of pieces, along with grinding operations.

Additionally, our workshop is equipped with machines suitable for deburring, roughing, finishing, cutting, and drilling operations, as well as plastic CNC machining. Upon request, we also carry out surface finishing, coating, water jet cutting, laser engraving, and colouring.
