CERTIFIED ISO 9001

Quality is the set of characteristics and properties of a product, process, or service that give it the ability to meet the implicit or explicit needs of the customer.

A company that puts Quality first is a company that guarantees a high level of service to its customers in various areas: product characteristics, delivery punctuality, degree of organization, information flow, technical support, document management, packaging and transportation methods, and execution of inspections and tests.

For this reason, LIMA has been certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 standards since 2002.

Improving Product or Service Quality

The UNI EN ISO 9001 standard is a globally recognized set of rules that companies implement with the goal of improving the quality of the product or service provided by their organization.

The UNI EN ISO 9001 standard is based on a process model and focuses on the concepts of “customer satisfaction” and “continuous improvement.”

The certification body that the company works with is IEC ITALIA, which provides third-party certification and inspection services for companies operating in industrial, commercial, professional, and service sectors, ensuring experience and competence in every field of accreditation.

Principles of Quality

Only with an effective and precise Quality Management System can a company guarantee its customers full compliance with the specifications and technical characteristics outlined during the order phase. For finished products, systematic inspections are carried out using cutting-edge instrumentation such as lasers, optical projectors, and probes.

Control and Monitoring

All semi-finished products are inspected during the acceptance phase. At each stage, sample checks are performed to verify the correct manufacturing of the item according to the customer’s requirements. Before shipping, a final inspection of the batch is conducted.

Planning

Every phase of the production cycle is meticulously planned to ensure efficient management of activities and optimization of resource use. Each phase is scheduled to meet the customer’s delivery deadlines.

Maintaining Standards

Suppliers are selected based on characteristics such as punctuality in deliveries, quality of semi-finished products, flexibility, and technical competence. Internal audits are periodically conducted to check the state of the Quality Management System. The most advanced control instruments are used, which are constantly calibrated; periodic maintenance of every machine tool is also ensured.

Management

Integrated management of non-conformities and situations adverse to Quality is ensured to take corrective and immediate actions. Every employee is guaranteed an adequate level of training and instruction. Tasks and responsibilities for each department are established, and the necessary requirements for carrying out individual tasks are defined. The computerized data management system ensures the identification and traceability of each order and batch. Periodically, company objectives for continuous improvement are set.
